  • Assume office duties.
  • Review evidence in ongoing investigations. 
  • Assist attorneys in investigative testimony and depositions.
  • Aid with discovery.
  • Draft court pleadings and papers.

Criminal Law
 
Criminal Law interns will develop the depth and breadth of their legal knowledge and skills, to become familiar with applying them in a wide range of real situations. Tasks you may be responsible for are:
  • General office duties.
  • Drafting documents.
  • Liaising with clients, courts and prosecutors.
  • Working on criminal legal aid cases under the direct supervision of a legal manger or senior lawyer, including legal research and drafting legal submissions.
  • Developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
