An internship is a carefully monitored work or volunteer experience in which an individual has intentional learning goals and reflects actively on what he or she is learning throughout the experience.
What industries can I undertake an internship?
You can undertake an internship in almost all industry areas. There are very few areas, such as in some medical fields, that you cannot undertake an internship.
What type of organisations do you place interns into?
It could be a small medium enterprise, a multinational, a Government Department, a Crown Research Facility, a school, a laboratory, field based, etc.
What are my responsibilities?
We custom design internship experiences and build roles to match your learning goals or academic guidelines.
How long does it take to arrange an internship?
We take on average 4-6 weeks from the date of application. This varies on the complexity of the internship request.
Are the internships paid?
We arrange unpaid internships only. The internships are of a high level, designed to meet academic requirements or build your skills in your chosen career.
Can you assist with housing?
Yes, we can arrange housing for you with other students or in a homestay.
Can you help me meet people?
Yes, we plan events, orientations and if you choose the packages, we house you with other interns or students.
What are the living costs of an international internship experience?

Can you arrange internships that meet my academic guidelines?
Yes, we build internships that meet any academic criteria you may have. We also arrange internships for "thesis students" who need to complete a project based internship. We will work with your academic supervisor and build an internship that meets your individual academic requirements.
Where are the internships?
We arrange internships throughout Australia and New Zealand. Nearly all internships are in the main city centres, but some may be in rural locations. For example, if you are doing an internship in agriculture or at a Vineyard you will most likely be based in a rural location. Event planning will be based in the city and so on...
What is the internship environment like?
The environment of the internship depends on the type of Internship. They can be office based, laboratory based, field based etc. You always have a designated supervisor who you report to and who assigns you tasks.
What are the internship hours?
Internships are typically 5 days a week for 8 hours/day. Sometimes internships can be arranged on a part time basis to fit around study or to allow you to work in a paid position to support your internship experience.
Can I take time off during my internship?
Yes, of course. Like any workplace, you are allowed time off. As you will be interning in Australia or New Zealand, you will need days off to jump off bridges or go to the beach... We all like days off!
Can I do more than one internship?
For sure! We will design as many internship experiences as you can handle. You can do one internship in Sydney and the next internship in Auckland, or anywhere in either country.
