Fortunately I found positive reviews online and ended up with a great internship. I'm in the office 3-4 days per week, from 9 or 10 until 5, not because I'm always swamped with work to do, but because I love my coworkers and am passionate about the tasks they give me. There is always something to see and do, the hardest part is just being able to afford it all! I wish I had known that the temperature does vary in Australia: contrary to popular belief, you will need some warm clothes! But on the whole the only thing I really wish I had known before arriving is how quickly I would fall in love with the whole country!

I completed a six-week IT internship at one of New Zealand's leading Healthcare organisations in Auckland and must say that the experience was fantastic. Intern NZ did a great job in finding a suitable placement in my field where I got to learn hands on skills in a corporate environment and I am sure this will help me in my professional career. The staff from Intern NZ were very friendly and provided excellent service in terms of sourcing a good internship program and also prompt communication. I would like to recommend Intern NZ to anyone who wants to gain valuable work experience in their field of study, which will enhance the prospects to get a good job and boost your career.
The internship has paid off within 6 months of completion as I have secured a full time job in one of the top IT organisations in New Zealand. I would like to thank the team at Intern NZ for sourcing a valuable opportunity.

Living abroad for 4 months and being confronted to the necessity of quick adaptation has taken me to another next step, which made me more mature and self-sufficient. Likewise, I have been able to do some amazing trips, which I may rarely have another opportunity to experience... Throughout the internship, I have learned a new method of work, with a different logic and another way of thinking. The landscapes make you think you are in paradise, however the only thing that I won't miss when back to France is the Vegemite (or Marmite or everything which ends with "mite"!!!) Eventually, this journey was really rewarding.

When I was getting ready to go overseas, everyone kept telling me that this trip would be life-changing. Now when I heard this, I just couldn't grasp what and how something could be that life-changing. I mean life changing is a pretty big goal to live up to. But you know what, they were right. I feel like working abroad has changed the way I think, how I interact with people and opened my mind to opportunities that I didn't think were possible. I am so thankful for this opportunity for it has changed me for the better. One of my favourite experiences was meeting the people of New Zealand. The atmosphere that they created in this beautiful place was truly humbling to be around. I learned so much from them and more about myself.

My experience was great. I was able to be part of the staff, i was involve in many events, i made proposals for the game nights and they listen to me. The internship allowed me to interact with the kiwi culture of working and also meet very nice people. I was very lucky to interact as well with sponsors and many different activities throughout my staying there. I became part of their family and they help me a lot with my internship and also personal growing.

The Kiwi people are so friendly and welcoming--I was utterly charmed by how nicely they treated me and how willing they were to help me find my way around New Zealand living. Wellington is a beautiful city with a warm, homey atmosphere, and the surrounding environment is absolutely gorgeous. My workplace emphasized worker satisfaction and wellbeing just as much as it emphasized client satisfaction and wellbeing. The office was bright and welcoming with several motivational sayings written across the walls, and my coworkers were all exceptionally friendly and helpful to me. They really went out of their way to make me feel like I was part of the team.

I would recommend this country to anyone, it's been the greatest time I've ever had. I've met some great people at work and outside, I've learned a lot regarding advertising and have been really passionate about the projects I was given the opportunity to work on. I've found that people think and behave differently than back in Europe. People are more chilled, the work ethic is different, more relaxed in general, and the team spirit seems to be stronger here. New Zealand is truly a great country and deserves to be visited.
